Highlights

On July 26th, 2019 the Louis-Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation at the University of Pennsylvania held a poster presentation session for program participants. CEET summer researcher Eden Harris, in partnership with STEER and mentorship under CEC Deputy Director, Rich Pepino, presented her work on lead in soil in public parks across Philadelphia. She received a first-place award for her presentation reporting the findings of her work and a second-place award for her poster, shown below. Her work contributed to CEET’s existing map of lead values across the city of Philadelphia.
