Postdoctoral Fellows
The CEET training grant, directed by Drs. Blanca Himes, Trevor Penning, and Rebecca Simmons, provides support for postdoctoral fellows to perform mentored Environmental Health Science research. Postdoctoral fellows conduct a full-time translational research project co-mentored by a basic-scientist and clinician-scientist—and participate in monthly CEET Seminars, monthly Research Progress Talks, and the annual CEET Symposium.
Translational Research Training Program in Environmental Health Sciences
Basic scientists and clinical fellows receive specialized instruction in environmental exposures, molecular and cellular toxicology, mechanisms of disease, disease prevention, onset, and outcome. By joining the trainees and faculty on the CEET T32 grant, postdocs are exposed to state-of-the art training in environmental health sciences.
