Early-Stage Investigators

Early-Stage Investigators are an integral part of our community. The CEET offers dedicated support and guidance through our Career Development Program designed to cultivate the careers of junior faculty—establishing the next generation of environmental health scientists—through mentorship, pilot projects, grant proposal review, workshops, and continuing education opportunities.

CEET Career Development Program

Our Environmental Health Scientist Support Program is designed to provide a transformative experience so that our Early-Stage Investigators (ESI) will be equipped with the tools for success. Environmental Health Science is unique, spanning diverse interdisciplinary expertise that ranges from mechanistic toxicology, epidemiology, exposure science, and translation to patients, communities, and policy makers—and successful scientists are increasingly faced with “Big-Data”, and how to transform such data into knowledge which requires familiarity with bioinformatics tools and the advances being made in computational science, machine learning and AI.
