K08 HL173625: Air Pollution Sensitivity in Pediatric Asthma
The funded project focuses on understanding the impact of ambient air pollution (AAP) on asthma exacerbations in children. By investigating individual susceptibility to AAP, the study aims to identify vulnerable groups and develop strategies to protect them. The findings of this study can inform both immediate clinical interventions and long-term policies to reduce health inequities and improve respiratory health outcomes in pediatric populations.
