Lea, a 10th grade student who during the summer of 2019, was granted the opportunity to conduct research through the CEET’s Teen Research and Education in Environmental Science (TREES) program, won the Presidential Award for research focused on “Effective Repeated Filtration of Amoxicillin from Wastewater Using Activated Charcoal Filters”.
